Some exam instructions for the student:
1- The minimum passing score is 50% (fifty percent) for each subject.
2- A student who fails half of the lessons in the exams of the first attempt is allowed to take the exams of the second attempt.
3- If the student is considered to have failed in any of the first and second attempts, he must repeat the year as a full-time and do an examination in all the subjects in which he failed, as well as in which he obtained a pass grade.
4- The student is considered to have failed in any subject if his absences exceed 10% of the hours for that subject without a legitimate excuse or 15% with a legitimate excuse approved by the College Council.
5- The student may participate in the exams of the second attempt if his non-participation in the exams of the first attempt is due to a legitimate excuse approved by the college or institute council, provided that this is supported by official documents and in one of the following cases:
First: Illness (a medical clinic report from the university health center or an emergency card reinforced with a letter from the hospital to be delivered to the Student Affairs and within three days of the exam date)
Second: The death of one of his first-degree relatives.
Third: run-over accidents.
Fourth: sudden arrest.
6- It is not permissible to postpone the examination of the second attempt in any way.
7- The student's graduation rank is calculated according to the following:
In the 5-year studies, the distribution of the percentages is as follows:
The first year 5% five percent.
The second year is 10% ten percent.
Third year 15% fifteen percent.
Fourth year 30% thirty percent.
Fifth year 40% forty percent.
8- The student’s relationship with the college or institute ends in one of the following two cases:
First - If he fails two consecutive years in his class.
Second - If the student exceeds the prescribed period of study in his specialization and half of this period, including the years of failure, the years of postponement and non-failure are not counted in this.
9- If it is proven that the student cheated or attempted cheating in any of the final, daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly exams, he shall be considered as failing in all subjects for that year. And if this is repeated, he will be dismissed from the college or institute and his record will be unlisted from its records.
10 - The student may postpone his studies for one year for legitimate reasons that the college or institute board is satisfied with, provided that he submits the request for postponement at least thirty days before the start of the final exam.
11- It is not permissible to postpone a student’s study in colleges or institutes that follow the semester system in the second semester unless it is for a reason beyond his control and to be successful in the first semester. In this case, the postponement is for the second semester only.
